Frequently asked questions
Is Imólè really free?
Yes. Your website, editing, publishing, WhatsApp button, online booking calendar, analytics, your own domain and your directory listing are all free, with no monthly fee. Imólè only earns a small booking fee (2%) when a customer pays to book — and you choose whether your customer or your business pays it.
How much does a business website cost in Nigeria or Ghana?
With Imólè the website itself costs nothing. Traditional web designers in Nigeria and Ghana often charge a one-off fee plus yearly hosting. With Imólè there is no fee at all until a customer pays to book, and then only 2% of that payment.
How do I create a website for my business?
Sign up at imoletide.com, choose your type of business, add your business name, WhatsApp number and services, pick a design, and publish. Most people are live in about three minutes, from their phone.
Do I need a laptop or any technical skills?
No. Imólè works on any smartphone. If you can use WhatsApp, you can build and edit your Imólè website.
How do customers book?
Customers tap "Book" on your website. They choose a service, pick a real free time from your opening hours (or suggest one) and pay to book through Paystack. Every booking appears in your Imólè dashboard — bookings are never taken over WhatsApp chat.
Do customers pay when they book?
Yes — that is what stops no-shows. You choose how much customers pay when they book, from 10% of the price up to the full amount, by card, bank transfer or USSD through Paystack. The money settles into your own bank account in Nigeria or Ghana.
What is the 2% booking fee?
Imólè earns 2% of each booking payment. In your dashboard you choose who pays it: your customer (it is added at checkout, so you receive your full price) or your business (it comes out of your payout). Paystack’s processing fee follows the same choice.
Will my website show on Google?
Yes. Every Imólè website is built to be found: fast on mobile, with your business name, location, services and opening hours marked up for Google. You can also list your business in the Imólè directory.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. Every website gets a free Imólè address, and you can connect your own domain (for example yourbusiness.com.ng or yourbusiness.com.gh) at any time.
Does Imólè work in Ghana?
Yes. Imólè is built for Nigeria and Ghana first. Ghanaian businesses can show prices in Cedis and take deposits through Paystack Ghana.
Is there a referral programme?
Yes. Share your referral link from your dashboard. When a business you invited puts its website live, you both get AI credits for the Imólè AI Assistant, which is coming soon.
