This policy applies to every account, website, listing, message and template on Imólè. Imólè is an app of Sundre Communication.
Businesses we don’t allow
- Anything illegal in Nigeria or Ghana, or where your customers are
- Weapons, ammunition and explosives
- Drugs, drug paraphernalia and unlicensed medicines, including “miracle cures”
- Adult services, escort services and sexual content
- Gambling, betting, lotteries and “investment” schemes, ponzi or pyramid schemes, and get-rich-quick offers
- Crypto trading, forex signals, loans or money transfer services
- Fake documents, counterfeit or stolen goods, and replica designer goods
- Property you do not own or are not authorised to let or sell
- Services that exploit people, including people trafficking and “visa or job abroad” schemes
- Anything that promotes hate, violence or discrimination
Content you must not publish
False or misleading prices, photos, reviews or claims; other people’s photos, logos or designs without permission; anyone’s personal data without consent; malware, phishing or links designed to trick people; and content that harasses, threatens or bullies.
Rules for using the platform
Do not take bookings for Imólè-listed services outside Imólè, or ask customers to pay to a personal account instead of through Imólè; do not post contact details to get around message masking; do not create fake accounts, fake bookings or fake referrals; do not scrape, overload, probe or try to break into Imólè, other accounts or other websites (security researchers: see our disclosure policy); and do not resell Imólè without our permission.
What happens if a rule is broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, hide a website, pause bookings or payouts on Imólè, remove the Verified badge, or close the account. Where there is a risk of fraud or harm we may act first and explain afterwards. We may report illegal activity to the police or regulators.
Reporting a business or content
If something looks wrong — a scam, a fake listing, stolen photos, or a business asking you to pay outside Imólè — email [email protected] with the website link and what happened. We review every report and do not tell the business who reported them.
