Five rules for booking safely
Pay with the Book button
Never send money to a personal account because someone asked you to in a chat or DM.
Check the web address
Imólè business sites end in imoletide.com or use the business’s own domain; the checkout is on paystack.com.
Look for the badge and reviews
Verified businesses and real reviews are good signs. Be careful of deals that look too good to be true.
Keep messages on Imólè
If a business pushes you to move to WhatsApp to pay, stop and report it.
Keep your receipt
Your booking reference is what we need to help with a dispute.
Short-lets and property
Never pay a “viewing fee” or deposit outside Imólè. Check the photos, address and reviews, and ask questions before you pay. On arrival, if the property is not as described, tell the host and email us straight away.
